Chloe & Gareth’s day was just beautiful. Chloe is an old school friend of mine and I was honoured when she asked me to photograph her wedding which took place in the Wiltshire village where Chloe grew up near our old school. Chloe is somewhat of a perfectionist. (With a capital P as her Dad put it) and so I knew the wedding would be amazing, but there was so much detail and so many personal touches which she and her Mum had worked hard to put in place. Her dress was the to die for David Feilden Grace Kelly dress, which was just so elegant. David Fielden is one of the most exciting dress designers around, leading the way in bridal trends, with fashion led designs. My husband, who joined me on the day as a guest kept saying how beautiful she looked, along with everyone else, and truly Chloe was just the most radiant bride. When we walked into the marquee, we were moved to tears. It was like something from a dream, and I think I felt so emotional because I knew that it was the result of years of dreaming, and planning and hard work from both her and her parents. I could feel the emotion she must have felt, from dreaming about this day from such a young age to it’s realisation. The marquee was pitched on the village playing field, and from it you could see the hill Gareth and Chloe had walked up the year before, where Gareth had popped the question. It was brilliant to catch up with some old school friends on the day too, and once I put my camera down I enjoyed being at a wedding as a guest- which felt rather novel! Thank you so much for having us Chloe & Gareth, I wish you both so much happiness in your new life together and I can’t wait to create and capture more happy memories with you both throughout your life.
