Portrait sessions are such a wonderful way to celebrate and create a lasting memory of you & your loved ones. Ideal for couples, maternity, families or just you and your dog, these speedy ten minute sessions are ideal for fidgey kids who don’t want to spend long in front of the camera! The photos make perfect gifts framed for Christmas (I know, I know…it’s early!) for the grandparents, or just as a lovely keepsake to remind you of summer 2024!
These sessions are the most affordable way to work with me and are priced at a special reduced rate as I’m able to take advantage of being in one location and capturing multiple clients fast, on the same date.
Slots for these sessions are extremely limited and I expect them to sell out within a few hours of going on sale. Where are the sessions taking place?
The sessions will be held at Salisbury PYO Sunflowers in Pitton, just outside of Salisbury. Once your session is booked I will send you some more detailed instructions on the location and where to meet me for the session.
When are they taking place?
Wednesday 21st August and Thursday 22nd August 2024 between 6.30 – 7.30pm.
Shooting in the evening allows us to make the most of the privacy of the field being closed to the public and (hopefully!) dreamy golden hour evening light. During the day the sun is too harsh as there’s no shade in the field.
How much are they and what's included?
Sessions are £60 which includes the shoot, all the images beautifully edited and retouched and presented to you in your own personal online gallery. You’ll also recieve a coupon code to purchase your favourite photo in a high resolution digital download.
And if you’d like to, or you just can’t choose you’re welcome to choose to add extras too. Prints are priced from £10 and digitals are £30 each with bulk discounts available.
Can two families come together?
Yes absolutely. It would be lovely to capture different generations and groups for you. For families with more than six people, or groups of two families I’d suggest booking two slots to ensure we can get the most from your session and to ensure we’re not rushed. Ten minutes goes fast!
What's a 'micro' session?
You may have heard photographers use a few different names for photo shoots. I offer full sessions, which are up to an hour, and I also run ‘mini sessions’ which are 20 minutes long. Sunflower shoots are ‘micro sessions’ which are 10 minutes long. It’s just another way of saying they’re fast!
Fast shoots are ideal for kids (or grown ups!) who don’t love the camera, and they’re also budget friendly too.
There’s really only one backdrop to make use of at the fields – the sunflowers of course – so ten minutes is plenty of time to capture a variety of photos of you with our one glorious backdrop.
What if all the sessions have sold out? Can we still have a portrait with you?
In the event all the sessions have sold out please join the VIP list. If there are any last minute cancellations I’ll offer these to the VIP list first.
I’m now fully booked for Spring/Summer but I may run some more mini sessions in the run up to Christmas so watch this space.
