Wow, what an amazing weekend. Even when I’m mid season and swamped with editing I feel very lucky to have such a brilliant job. I feel especially lucky when I’m able to capture the wedding of a friend, and two of my friends had absolutely gorgeous weddings this weekend one in London on Friday and  the other in Somerset on Saturday. Today I’ve come back into the office with the post wedding blues to a few 2015 enquires, sadly none of which I’m available for.  This made me think it that t it might be handy to put out there a little note on my remaining 2015 availability.

All Saturdays in August and June 2015 are now booked. I have only one remaining Saturday available in both September and July, and the first two weekends of May are also available. Fridays are currently looking clearer and I do have availability for a few more winter weddings between October 2014 and April 2015. And I’d really love to hear from you if you’re getting married abroad. I’ve been super flattered to have a few people ask me my free dates before booking their venues- this has blown me away  and gives some indication of demand, so if you’re interested in having me shoot your day please get in touch as early  as possible to avoid disappointment.

One of the worst bits of this job is turning people away, I really wish I could shoot every wedding that comes my way but if I’m not free I’ll give you a personal recommendation for a photographer who is available and whose work is of a similar style to mine. These photographers are always people I know personally, and whose work is of the highest standard. This year I really have shot as much as I possibly can, and while 2014 has been an amazing season (and is by no means over yet!) working so much has left little time for my friends and family and so in 2015 and 2016 I’m going to be reducing the number of bookings I take on, and bookings will be on a much more exclusive basis.
