Love, Light & In Between Moments: Weddings of 2025

Dec 19, 2025 | Best of

As another wedding season comes to a close, I’ve been taking some time to look back through my galleries from 2025. Every year I’m reminded that while trends, timelines, and locations change, what really stays with me are the moments. The quiet ones, the joyful ones, and the fleeting in betweens that couples might not even realise are happening at the time.

This collection brings together some of my favourite wedding photographs from the past year. Not because they’re the most elaborate or perfectly styled, but because they hold something real.

There are images here filled with nervous anticipation: hands being squeezed a little tighter than usual, deep breaths taken just before walking down the aisle. There are moments of pure celebration, laughter spilling over during speeches, shoes kicked off on the dance floor, the kind of joy that can’t be staged or planned for. And then there are the calm pauses in between, usually during the moments when I sneak off the couple at golden hour, or for a few minutes the two of them, when the day seems to slow just long enough for everything to sink in.

What I love most about photographing weddings is the individuality of each couple. People always ask if I get bored of weddings, or photographing at the same venue a few times each year, and truly I don’t, because of you, my wonderful couples. Each of you give me such energy and joy. And from intimate ceremonies with just a handful of guests to larger celebrations, no two days I photographed this year felt the same. Each wedding has it’s own energy and it’s own story, and that’s what I aim to capture above all else. I want my images to feel honest, timeless, and full of feeling, so that years from now they still transport you right back to how the day felt.

These photographs are a reminder of why I do what I do. Being trusted to document such a meaningful chapter in someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted. To every couple who invited me in, who welcomed me like a friend, and who allowed me to capture their story, thank you.

Here’s to love in all its forms, to moments big and small, and to many more stories still to come in 2026 and beyond.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer for your 2026 wedding, I still have some limited availability. You can get in touch and receive a brochure with more details here.

PS. I always feel that I need to add a disclaimer that I’m well aware there are faaar too many photos here. It’s like choosing between children- and secondly, that there were so many more I wanted to include but had to leave out to make it manageable to browse the post. As a wedding photographer I have emotional attachments to each of these images, and more that aren’t here. I feel the emotion in each moment.

Featured venues include: Antrobus House, Ark Buffalo, The Beach House – Javea (Spain), Bowerchalke Barn, Clock Barn, Hatch House, The Manor Estate, Mill Farm Glamping, Millbridge Court, Pythouse Kitchen Garden, Salisbury Registry Office, Syrencot, Wellington Barn.

This first photo, and my most precious of the year, is a moment captured in loving memory of a very special Father of the Bride. With fondest love. This photograph will always hold a very special place in my heart.
