Millbridge Court near Farnham in Surrey is one of my all time favourite venues. It’s such a beautiful blank canvas space. It’s modern and light thanks to it’s huge windows which makes it a photographer’s dream! It has interiors which have been stylishly decorated to a very high quality finish and every inch of it is just beautiful. I mean, would you look at that incredible arbor for the ceremony?! TO. DIE. FOR. So it was the perfect space to host Ellis & Ryan’s incredible wedding on a scorching day in Summer.

I first met Ellis at another wedding as she’s a talented hair and make up artist, working as part of the brilliant Totally Flawless team. It’s always a real honour to be chosen to capture another wedding supplier’s wedding because you know they’ve spent hours looking at loads of professional photography over the years which means they really know their stuff! I was so thrilled to be chosen by Ellis as we hit it off immediately, she’s also super stylish and so I knew that visually the day would be great fun to shoot and Ellis did not let me down!

The Styling…

No detail had been overlooked and so Ellis and Ryan’s day was just beautiful. Styled to perfection by Forever & A Day the gorgeous acrylic signage complemented the pampas grass touches and modern, concrete style cake by Iced Innovations perfectly. The peachy florals by Chobham flowers were absolute perfection.

The Looks…

Of course Ellis and her girls looked just incredible, with their hair and make up perfectly done by Claire and the Totally Flawless team. Ellis looked amazing in her dress by Elysee with shoes by Charlotte Mills. Her girls were just stunning in their 90s style satin corseted gowns. I also loved that they chose black tie for their groomsmen, always a fave Groom’s look for me. I think Ryan is probably one of the most stylish Groom’s I’ve seen in twelve years in the game, right down to his velvet loafers.

Golden Hour…

Ryan did raise an eyebrow when I led him and Ellis into the fields behind Millbridge at sunset to capture some golden hour shots but Ellis didn’t bat an eye lid and was amazing, hitching up her gown and laughing at Ryan as we manoeuvred through the fields to get to the perfect spot for the light. The results speak for themselves, thank you both so much for trusting me!

If you’re getting married at Millbridge I’d love to hear about your plans! Get in touch here.
