Emma and Liam had a stunning wedding at Athelhampton House in Dorset, a beautiful 15th Century Manor near Dorchester. 2017 has certainly been a vintage year for weddings. I’ve been bowled over by the weddings I’ve taken part in, and yesterday was no exception. The day was utterly classic chic and effortlessly elegant, much like the bride herself, who wore a classic Sassi Holford gown from the infamous Miss Bush Boutique, teamed with Manolo Blahniks and Tiffany jewels, a gift from her groom. Hair was by Sienna Taye hairdressing with make up by Teresa Jolly.
Athelhampton was the perfect backdrop for the day with what felt like endless gardens and photo opportunities for their couple’s shoot. I was blown away by the amount of thought and detail that had gone into creating something truly special in the Orangery. Emma had handwritten a note for every single guest on labels attached to each of the favour jars packed with gin and tonic marshmallows. And as well as this each guest had a different challenge or dare to do and in some places there were little hidden gifts too. This was all in addition to the stunning florals and the beautiful key theme and origami game menu/place settings which all tied together in a refined muted white palette. After dinner the guests were treated to Espresso Martinis and The Bright Side Band got the party started; and you know it’s a good party when a spontaneous limbo breaks out! These are just a few sneaky peek preview images (as I just couldn’t choose!) and a fraction of the full set but hopefully give you a little overview of just how stunning the day was.
This is simply amazing work!
