If you’re graphic designer you know the importance of good quality images and the difference it can make to brand and website design. You know the importance of a good photo on your ‘About’ page or having the right bio photo. So I was incredibly honoured to be chosen as a photographer by the incredible Bespoke Brand Designer.

Relaxed Headshots At Home

We used multiple parts of Cathy’s home, and several outfit changes to deliver her loads of new photos to use on her social media & marketing. As a designer, Cathy knew just what she wanted and we started with more relaxed shots of her on the sofa with a mug in hand. These type of shots are great to use as talking points on social media foro those ‘It’s a Sunday….’ or ‘I’m just on a coffee break’ style posts.

Business Look

Once we’d captured some relaxed shots, we also captured some images of Cathy with a jacket which gave more of a business feel to the images. The photos are still relaxed in feel but show Cathy in smart work wear looking professional. It’s great to show all sides of your personality or brand in your images. And to have images with different looks in your files so depending on your needs you have the right photo to hand. For example Cathy might prefer to use one of these more business like images for a bio photo for a speaking gig. But she’d be more likely to use the photos with a cup of coffee for instagram.

Client Meeting Set Up

As well as headshots, Cathy wanted some photos which illustrate how she works in a client meeting. These shots can be helpful for social media or e-mail outs or to illustrate any content where you speak to your client about their journey or experience with you. These images really allow the client to imagine what it would be like to work with Cathy as their designer and show her as friendly and approachable. Cathy was a brilliant actor and took my direction flawlessly!
