Sunday saw my first wedding of the twenty eighteen season and it could not have started better than it did for Charlotte & Matt’s beautiful wedding! It was lovely to start the year at Clock Barn, a venue which has become somewhat of a home from home for me. It’s just down the road from home and I’m lucky enough to work there regularly. Charlotte booked to have us just for a few hours to cover their ceremony through to the speeches before dinner, which is a great way to get a lot of coverage within a short space of time. And man, did we pack in some cracking images into just a few hours!

Charlotte had eight bridesmaids and Matt eight groomsmen. I don’t think I’ve ever had quite such a big and beautiful bridal party to work with and I loved creating some relaxed and fun shots of them. As soon as the ladies arrived from bridal prep in their sequinned tulle dresses I knew it was going to be a gorgeous day to shoot and Charlotte was the most beautiful, glowing bride. They made my job so easy and so much fun! The couple’s family and friends were so welcoming too and we were able to capture lots of beautiful natural images of them enjoying the day. It was even the first day of the year warm enough for the guests to throw confetti and enjoy drinks and canapés outside. Just perfection.
