Arron & Tala’s wedding was simply stunning, on that blisteringly hot 13th July we had. It truly was the kind of wedding dreams are made of, beautifully brought together by the uber talented Julia of Snapdragon Parties. I really thought I had died and gone to wedding heaven when I stepped into the marquee. The flowers were my favourite part of the day, in another life I think I could quite happily have been a florist and this wedding had florals to die for in spades. The every archway and window in the church was bedecked with lush greenery and beautiful roses, and inside lavender and rose petals were scattered along the aisle creating the most amazing fragrance which hit you the moment you entered the church. I’m sure whenever Arron or Tala smell lavender they must be transported to their wedding day.
Gorgeous florals continued at the reception venue- the beautiful Wimpole Hall just outside Cambridge. What I can only describe as small rose trees and gorgeous birdcages were the centre pieces, and as well as beautiful table centres there was a chic chill out area and simple slate hearts served as the place names and favours.
And of course this attention to detail was extended to the bride & grooms attire. The bride wore a stunningly detailed Monique L’Huillier two piece with Jimmy Choos, and the groomsmen wore ties with skulls and crossbones and the brides-men wore ties with pink hearts.
After the bride and groom had cut their delicous Hummbingbird red velvet cake, they partied away to the awesome sounds of Fake Tan– a guilty pleasures cover band- these guys are seriously awesome- they really got the crowd going and were so much fun. Thank you so much for having me Arron & Tala- it was a beautiful day, and so much fun to shoot; thank you to the lovely & talented Emma Leviers for being an awesome assistant on the day, and a big thank you Julia and the Snapdragon team for taking care of us, and the wedding party so well. The team really went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly.
