I’m sure I probably say this every year, but where has 2014 gone? Everyone I speak to has agreed that the year has gone by unfeasibly fast this year. All of a sudden my facebook feed is full of Christmas trees and mulled wine, and I don’t quite feel ready for it! How did we get here people? I’ve still got two weddings left to shoot before the end of the year, so I’ll save the details for you in my annual round up post, but it truly has been an amazing year. I’ve shot almost forty weddings, including two in Italy and one in New York and as you can imagine this has kept me pretty busy and so the blog has been a bit quiet of late. To be quite honest I’ve been a little snowed under!
Last week I had one of my lovely brides over for a cuppa & a catch up to look over wedding albums. She mentioned how lovely it was in the run up to her wedding to see my weddings blogs popping up in her news feed every week, and that it both provided a good dose of inspiration as well as re-confirming how happy she was to have chosen me to capture her day. So I thought I’d better get back on top of blogging then! When it’s just me sat her pinging things out into the ether it’s not always easy to get much of a sense of how much you lot are enjoying it and I’ve sort of been fire-fighting with my workload over the past few months. But things are finally easing up, and I’ve taken on a more exclusive approach to shooting weddings for 2015.
So, brace yourselves! Get ready for blogging to be BACK! With a bang! ‘Wedding Wednesdays’ are returning, and from next week I’ll be blogging a wedding every Wednesday to inspire and delight you. And of course now my lovely new site is mobile friendly you can enjoy my musings and a dose of wedding pretty in the bath, on the morning commute or while eating your lunch as you can now browse from your tablet or phone. So do tune in dear reader and let me know what you think. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to this year!
